Bulk Resource Unassignment
Within Advanced Search, it is possible to conduct a bulk Resource Unassignment for those work orders that are in the In Progress (INPRG) status of the maintenance workflow.
While in this view, select the module as 'Maintenance' and the category as 'Work Order'.
Then select the 'Actions' button and this will produce a view that allows you to select what category you wish to conduct a bulk operation against. After 'Work Order' has been selected, then click the 'Bulk Operation On' button.
This view allows a user to select all the work orders in the 'INPRG' status that they wish to un-assign a resource from. Once these have been selected, then click the 'Next' button.
Within this view, it is possible to select which operation the user wishes to conduct. In this case, select 'Resource Unassignment' and click the 'Next' button.
In the 'Operation Details' view, this confirms the user is wanting to un-assign all resources from a work task that has no work completed against it. Select 'Next' here.
At last, on the confirmation page, the user is able to review the proposed changes and if happy with the information, then select the 'Submit' button.
